Fr. Carucci’s Tuesday Reflection & Mass Information

Resuming Public Masses

Our Lady of the Gulf Weekend Mass Schedule (May 16th & 17th)

We will resume our normal schedule of weekend Masses as soon as possible. But for right now, our schedule for Masses this weekend, May 16th & 17th , will be Saturday 4:30pm and Sunday, 8:00am & 10:30 am (there will be no 12:30 m or 7pm Mass this Sunday). The hall will be sanitized after each Mass.  We need as many volunteers as possible to help with sanitizing after each Mass. Please email the church office, STAYLOR@OLGAL.ORG, if you can volunteer. You are asked to observe all the guidelines for health and safety, such as wearing a mask and not congregating after Mass. Also keep in mind Archbishop Rodi has issued a general dispensation to all Catholics from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays.

All masses are in the Parish Hall while the church is being renovated.

Public Daily Mass began, Tuesday, May 12.

No Sign-up is necessary – Doors must be locked when we reach our maximum capacity.

The distribution of communion at 9:30 am on weekdays has been discontinued . Communion will be distributed, outside of Mass, on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.

  • A general dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass is still in effect.
  • If you are sick DO NOT attend Mass.
  • You are encouraged to wear a mask and gloves, but it is not required.
  • Social distancing must be maintained between families/households and others.
  • Larger families are encouraged to use the pews on the sides and to maintain 6’ from those outside your family.
  • Please do not move chairs. They are arranged in clusters of various sizes and are properly social distanced from others.
  • Please sit in the smallest cluster of chairs that will accommodate your household.
  • While you are welcome to bring your own missal or app, OLG cannot provide any shared worship aids (Hymnals/Missalettes) nor should they be left behind for others.
  • Please maintain social distancing in the Communion line and when departing Mass.
